Wastewater & Water Treatment for Industrial & Petroleum Plants

We do business with 3 of the top 10 US Petroleum companies!

Heavy Industrial, Power, and Petroleum plants do not want a product representative, they want a solutions provider. Our professionally licensed water and wastewater treatment engineers have more field experience than desk time.

Additionally, the number of pre-qualified companies who can support the size and complexity of larger systems are very low. We partner with our clients to help them choose the right equipment and support companies for their projects.

We get hired because we are un-biased on equipment selection, have extensive field expertise, know how to integrate solutions, and we buy direct for competitive equipment pricing.

MAC Water Technologies will provide you with engineered water and wastewater solutions with

several different manufacturer’s products, offering multiple solutions for every budget and long-term goal support.

Our Top Heavy Industrial, Power, & Petroleum Plant Services Include:

  • Wastewater with TSS and BOD Reduction

The top two issues we hear about from clients are TSS and BOD discharge surcharges.  Traditional approaches cannot take the TSS volume and most industrial plants cannot shut off the water flow for maintenance.  We bring our hands-on oil field and heavy industrial experience to our clients and newer proven technologies and techniques come with us.

We have vast experiences in TSS and BOD removal using several different types of technologies and manufacturers.  Most economical solutions are around designing a system specifically made for the application instead of piecing equipment together.  Our approach to these issues begins with independent lab testing or what we call “homework”.  We do this “homework” BEFORE looking at equipment.  With the right “homework”, the solution always presents itself.  Starting with throwing equipment at problems is a salesman’s approach, not our approach.

Providing engineering documentation for your staff to review with independent lab results showing a return on investment helps plant, maintenance, and engineering managers get their projects approved.

For heavy industrial our differentiators are:

    • We do not replace engineering firms and we do not have a $20.000 minimum retainer.
    • Our reference books are not 20+ years old.
    • We are a technology company.
    • Our professionally licensed engineers have more field experience than desk time.

  • Fracking

We excel at TSS reduction and water re-use.

The days of trucking out produced water are over.  We process produced water on-site and send it back down the hole, allow it to be used at the next site, or for surface discharge.  Not only is this method responsible, it pays for itself!

Produced water is vastly different from well-to-well and state-to-state.  Our team has experiences across the United States and globally.

We provide custom solutions for specific problems.  Many times this consists of adjusting equipment that has already been purchased and/or adding one missing component to the process.

  • Phosphorous Removal

If you are reading this you are already aware of the new EPA restrictions heading your way.  We have found that the only methods available to you are traditional coagulation and flocculation, settling, filtration, and sludge management.

Our team of industry engineers and scientists have developed different Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) methods for removing Phosphorous from different industrial wastewaters.  Again, we start with lab testing homework to find which AOP method most efficiently reacts with the specific Phosphorous species that are combined with other elements and starches that are in the fluid.  This is typically followed by a field pilot study to verify the ownership costs to allow for company management to properly budget for the future.

  • Power Plants

Power plant’s three main problems; they only have a few pre-approved equipment companies that they can do business with, the chemical contracts are made in some magical room in another state by people who have never even been inside a power plant, and the engineering firm’s solutions are incredibly outdated by the time they get to the construction phase.

Before we become an approved supplier, most large facilities hire us to:

  • Help their pre-qualified suppliers design and build custom equipment.
  • Help choose which equipment proposals to pick for the project.
  • Be a third party to determine how to enhance their system operations.
  • Evaluate projects to determine return on investment outcomes.
  • Oversee projects and service providers.
  • Perform field testing to determine if technologies will work at their facility and to evaluate the true expected ownership costs.
  • Evaluate and create preventative maintenance programs.
  • Support engineering services including equipment and system monitoring to enhance the operating costs, prolong equipment life between maintenance, and provide the ability to proactively schedule needed downtime instead of waiting for things to break.

A Referral Based Company

We are a referral based company and being so we must look after our customers first. If we do not do this, we will not receive any referrals, and if we do not receive referrals, we go out of business. By operating for the customer this way, and sticking to our values, we have quickly gained a world-wide customer base and expanded our markets.
